The KRUNK Movement
“Kreating Realistic Universal New School Knowledge”
— The KRUNK Movement
The KRUNK Movement is a year-round youth production program for high school students that focuses on the elements of hip-hop through songwriting, production, art, and technology. By exploring relevant issues of social justice and health, the student-led collective creates engaging art of varying forms. Students learn about technical, professional, and industry-specific skills that are necessary to succeed as an artist. In between projects, students can expect to experience the KRUNK community through local/regional trips and team building experiences!

Our Projects
7 Deadly Sins (2025)
The album "7 Deadly Sins" navigates life through music, reflecting on the challenges, temptations, and moments of resilience that shape the human experience. Each track offers a unique perspective, allowing students to process their personal stories while connecting to broader themes of struggle and perseverance. In the spirit of KRUNK’s mission, the project empowers listeners to turn personal expression into a tool for dialogue, strength, and change.
Su(Stained) Reality (2024)
Experience the compelling rhythms and expressive lyrics of "Su(Stained) Reality," a unique mixture of hip-hop, R&B, and spoken word. This album, created by the bright young minds of Pittsburgh, is a reflection of the UN's Sustainable Development Goals—to create a cleaner earth by 2030. It doesn't just focus on environmental protection. it also emphasizes social equality, economic growth, and cultural diversity. “Su(Stained) Reality" isn't just an album; it's a movement.
