Turkey Drive - 2024
Mark your calendars for our annual Turkey Drive on November 22nd! Hazelwood residents will have turkeys delivered, while non-Hazelwood residents can pick theirs up at Center of Life.
You MUST register in advance to receive a turkey. Slots fill up fast, so register ASAP!
Registration for Hazelwood residents only will open on Oct 31st.
Open to the public beginning Saturday, Nov 2nd.

FAQs
What will I receive at the turkey giveaway?
Each household will receive one turkey and a bag of traditional fixings.
Do I have to live in Hazelwood to participate
Hazelwood residents will be given preference for sign-ups from Oct 31st through Friday, Nov 1st. The drive will then open up to the larger Pittsburgh area on Saturday, Nov 2nd. Spots and food are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis so we encourage you to register early. Delivery is not available for non-Hazelwood residents.
Can I get more than one turkey or more fixings?
At this time, we can only accommodate one turkey and a bag of fixings per household.
How does the waitlist work?
Once we reach capacity we will begin taking information for a waitlist and encourage you to register in case additional resources become available. We will accommodate families from the waitlist in the order in which they register.
How will the assigned time slots work?
Someone will reach out to you to confirm the time slot based on your preferences that you will pick in the form below. Please make sure to provide a working telephone number. If we cannot reach you, we cannot guarantee that you will get a turkey.
I submitted the form. Does that mean I am registered?
Once you submit the form, you will be contacted via phone call or text message within 72 hours (we will not call on the weekend) to confirm your registration and assigned time slot. If spots are no longer available, we will communicate this and add you to the waitlist.
What if I'm unavailable during the time of the event?
If you are unable to accept a delivery or pick up your turkey on Friday, November 22nd, there will be a spot that you will be able to indicate that you are unavailable. Someone will reach out to you to make other arrangements, if necessary. If you do not make this arrangement and cannot receive a delivery or come to pick up during the designated time slot, we cannot guarantee that your food will still be available but we will do our best to make contact with you and make the necessary arrangements.
