Dusty Angels,” A Song of Resilience and Unity Premieres on 9/11

PITTSBURGH, PA – September 11, 2025 – On a day that brings about pain and disbelief to so many, Center of Life is proud to release “Dusty Angels,” a collaborative song that speaks directly to the heart of our shared struggles and resilience.

Written during the COVID-19 pandemic, amidst the grief and nationwide outcry following George Floyd’s death, “Dusty Angels,” based on the original poem by Claudette E. Rowe, captures the pain and yearning for justice that swept the world. At its core, the song is a testament to hope, lifting first responders, everyday neighbors, and all who rise to the occasion in times of crisis.

The release of “Dusty Angelson September 11, 2025, bridges two defining trials of the 21st century. By connecting these moments, “Dusty Angels” creates a powerful opportunity for us all to pause, reflect, and recognize the good in our neighbors, as well as those who continue to work across our communities to uphold healthy living, social and mental wellness, security, and a supportive foundation for us all to grow.

Dusty Angelsoffers us an opportunity to see each other, to honor the sacrifices of the servant leaders in our communities and recommit to building a more just and compassionate world!
