Community Feedback Session Part 3

Community Feedback Session
Session 3 September 17 at 6:00 PM - location TBD

Save the date for our last session of the year to learn about our ongoing building progress and share your feedback to help shape its future. Center of Life’s Community Hub will be a transformative, community-serving facility designed to address the diverse needs of Greater Hazelwood residents.
Featuring a LEED-certified, net-zero-energy design, the Hub will provide sustainable infrastructure and will host a comprehensive suite of programming, including all of Center of Life's educational, arts, extracurricular, family strengthening, and enrichment offerings for students, teens, parents, and community members. Proposed partnerships with organizations such as the Council of Three Rivers American Indian Center (COTRAIC) for early childhood education, the University of Pittsburgh’s Community Engagement Center and Nursing School, and Primary Care Health Services, Inc. (PCHS) will extend the Hub’s reach, providing critical services across health, education, and community development.
COL’s hub at Hazelwood Green will serve as a community eco-system that will facilitate the success of an underserved neighborhood by providing vital in-house programs and services and partnering with and engaging Hazelwood Green organizations in the everyday life of the community. The goal is for every child and family to have the opportunity everyone deserves — to cultivate and achieve their potential, regardless of their ZIP code, background, or wealth status.
