Originally from Northern Arizona, Angela McCoy joined Center of Life in the summer of 2023. Angela has a bachelor’s degree in communications and public health from Northern Arizona University. She has vast work experience, including working for the YMCA and a University of Arizona summer camp, and has worked in various roles such as a health and social services coordinator, running a Fairfax County, community center, and building the youth department for the International Rescue Committee – Silver Spring branch.  

Her favorite thing about working at COL is building a new program from the ground up and fitting the specific needs of our staff, community, and Hazelwood. Angela’s favorite thing about Hazelwood is how much of a true community it is and how happy she is to be a part of such a passionate community.
